Why encer is different

Giveaways your fans can actually trust

Most creator giveaways ask fans to trust a screenshot. encer runs one recorded draw and replays the exact result, so a giveaway is verifiable instead of just claimed.

A giveaway only works if the people who entered believe the result. On most tools the proof is a screenshot of a random-picker site — no entry count, no timestamp, no way to check anything. That is the moment trust quietly leaks out of a campaign.

encer takes a different position: a draw should be a recorded, reproducible event on the same page where people entered, not a private action you are asked to take on faith.

One recorded draw, not a screenshot

encer runs a single idempotent draw and publishes the result on the giveaway block itself. Entrants see the outcome where they entered, alongside the rules that were set before the draw.

A reveal you can replay

The result is played back deterministically as a ladder or number roulette. The same draw always produces the same path, so the reveal is an animation over a fixed outcome — not a fresh random each time someone reloads.

Honest about what it does and does not prove

encer enforces one entry per account and records the draw and its time. It does not claim to detect one person using several accounts, and it says so. Trust comes from stating the real guarantees, not from overclaiming.

  • One entry per account, enforced automatically
  • One recorded draw with a published, replayable result
  • Rules fixed and shown before entries open

Real use example: a 100-copy zine launch

A zine creator publishes the quantity, entry deadline, account limit, and reveal time before entries open. Fans enter on the same page they already received in the launch post. At the deadline, the creator runs the draw once; the page announces the winner and replays that recorded result instead of asking everyone to trust a cropped randomizer screenshot.

The practical payoff is fewer clarification posts: the rules, closed state, result, and replay remain attached to the original campaign URL. During beta, the giveaway and reveal blocks are available only where their rollout flags are enabled.
